Paying For Care

If an assessment of your needs and finances has been carried out by a social worker from the local authority, they will then draw up a suggested care plan to meet your needs.  The social worker will discuss this plan with you and subject to your agreement will go ahead and arrange your service which may include domiciliary home care.  It is important that you are aware of the fact that social services will make part payment towards your care into a bank account for direct payments.  Social services will then calculate any contribution you make for your service and they will write to you giving you this information and how to make your contribution. You will receive a monthly invoice from care 4 u.
